Jasmine

All my life I've been known as "The artsy-crafty girl". Since I was little I loved dying my shirts and sewing on buttons and beads. At the age of 12, I remember taking a plastic bag with my creations and walking by all the shops around my house trying to sell some of my unusual wares.

When I was 20 I moved from Argentina to Israel and entered college where I studied Graphic Design and Illustration. In between studies my best friend and I found some time to create hand-made jewellery, which we sold at student fairs and shops. It was good extra money and a great time! After graduating from college I worked as a graphic designer for some years.
Eventually I started to teach graphic design, made and sold crafts, did some freelance illustration
and even designed and produced my own line of Baby Products. Later on, I met a teacher and friend, who introduced me to the world of pottery. Discovering the endless possibilities of pottery I felt my career was taking a dynamic turn.

On 2004, my husband and I moved with our kids from Israel to Vancouver and it felt like a new
beginning. Meanwhile our third son was born and being a stay-at-home mom with 3 young boys
wasn't easy. But I always found the time to write down my ideas; research the internet, go to crafts shops and fairs; browse the public library; study the market in the city; compare prices and look for hours in all the craft magazines I discovered at a small shop I loved to go when time was hard and rainy...
All over town I found thrift shops, consignment stores where I hunted for special laces, buttons and fabrics. When I was asked to create a program for kids at the JCC, I did it with pleasure!
"Jewellery Makers" was a success where I combined my knowledge and experience doing crafts,
with my love for teaching. Moms started to ask for "Craft Parties", so I knew that "Angelina's Dream" was about to become a reality.

"Angelina's Dream" is all that I am in one great place: as a graphic designer, designing a unique
image and packaging for the projects and products; as an illustrator, illustrating all the invitations & thank you notes; as a potter, creating all kinds of clay projects and reproducing them, and as a person who loves working with people. I plan every project carefully, trying to offer an interesting range of products each with a personalized style. At "Angelina's Dream" I wanted to reach girls and women of all ages, who love beauty, friendship and parties!

Thank you for joining my dream, Jasmine Sasky.
